Astro Tracker: February 18 – 24, 2013

Important transiting aspects for the week of February 18 – 24, 2013
Sunday, February 24 :
And the winner is….
I’m going to call it for “Lincoln” for Best Movie.
The Oscars begin @ 5:30 PM PST in Los Angeles, CA.
The Sun is conjunct the 7th house cusp – place of the winner – @ 6 Pisces 36.
It’s a male hero who sacrifices for all. With a strong Neptune theme, as Pisces is ruled by Neptune and the DES is at the Sun/Neptune midpoint.

Here’s more TODAY and the rest of this week’s TRANSITING ASPECTS…

Before we jump into this week’s transits – and it is quite a week coming up – a word about last week’s DOUBLE YOD. It worked. There were 2 simultaneous events and one blindsided us entirely. We were expecting the Asteroid FlyBy, and got grazed by a meteor. Again showing us it pays to watch the transiting aspects. And study them. closely.
More on this AWESOME phenomenon @ Saved from the Asteroids by the Asteroids
Latest from NASA as reported in UniverseToday, a small asteroid entered Earth’s atmosphere @ Chelyabrinsk, Russia on Friday, Feb 15.

Monday, February 18 :
Venus trines Ceres
Sun enters Pisces @ 7:01 AM EST
Saturn stations Retrograde
All things wonderful and fabulous are possible – as long as you don’t overly exaggerate what you CAN do.
Soul warriors – as the Sun moves into Pisces today, it joins Neptune, Chiron, Mars, and Mercury already in Pisces. You are psychic – but it’s so much more socially acceptable, not to mention easier and less messy, to cover it up and pretend you didn’t see a thing. But it’s not like that with 5 planets in Pisces and Venus approaching. (Venus enters Pisces Feb 25.) Nuances count. Subtlety is seen. Let yourself feel what you’re feeling. Admit what you sense. That’s the bravery of Pisces, as the Sun – the Hero – journeys through Pisces.

To get in the mood, listen to music, watch a film, make art, surround yourself in your favorite colors, immerse yourself in emotions. And keep dreaming.

Tuesday, February 19 :
Venus semisquares Uranus
Break time for the overlooked and undervalued so they can try harder. But oops. That’s not the point.

Wednesday, February 20 :
Today’s Cancer Moon has the power to activate your dream nature. It can be important to pay attention to dreamstate messages – but that doesn’t mean taking time off to drift or evade. If you’re jumping into action – are you ready – or are you jumping to overcompensate for taking time to dream? If you have a spurt of fast-paced activity – make sure to take time to rest and rehydrate later.

Thursday, February 21 :
Sun conjuncts Neptune
Gibbous Moon
Little things that may have been lodged in hidden places can reappear this morning. That can be object, or objects of affection. It can be good, or things you thought you buried deeply enough can resurface. But you’ve got energy and you’re in control. Pace and procedure. And you can keep moving, naturally. Your friends and family DO want to hear everything. Even if it takes a few weeks.

Friday, February 22 :
Venus semisquares Neptune

Saturday, February 23 :
Mercury stations Retrograde
Mercury Retrograde stations are times of standstill. News and information are hard to find. Even if you succeed – it can be completely made up. Are you checking facts – or believing what you hope is real, even if it’s the farthest thing from reality your imagination could conjure. This is Pisces – shapeshifting your little mind – and making standstill more indecisive and foggy. Since Mercury is making this station conjunct Mars (also in Pisces), passive/aggressive outbursts are likely to go nowhere and continue to escalate… possibly till early May when they can boil over. And then it’s going to cost you – real hard cash. If you avoid taking unconscious actions personally – even if they are really mean – you can be energized – and articulate. All spring.

Sunday, February 24 :

Next week: Full Moon (in Virgo)

Your contributions : make a difference
