This post is timely as Mercury slowly strolls past 11 Scorpio – the degree of the upcoming SOLAR ECLIPSE – on November 4.

The post on Divine Awareness for the GOVT SHUTDOWN: Saturn-Mercury conjunction quincunx Uranus – stirred up some emotionally charged discussion – and that’s significant because these aspects contain important lessons – and are still in effect – through the Eclipses and coming Mercury Retrograde. And here’s how …

Saturn and Mercury made their conjunction (Tuesday, Oct 9) just one degree from the upcoming SOLAR ECLIPSE (November 4). Mercury will station Retrograde on Oct 21 and will also conjunct the SOLAR ECLIPSE.

Decisions MUST be responsible. Not being responsible is likely to have very serious consequences. Throwing around catchy slogans can create life/death situations, like taking down the economy.

Nothing is certain now. Using words inappropriately can have on-going negative consequences. This is an aspect of regret.

Scorpio needs to share. Saturn represents resistance and limitations. The more you resist sharing, the more limitations you are likely to face.

This also speaks of a time we can LEARN to be empathic, to feel gratitude and care for others. THis is how we evolve spiritually. Again, we have a choice. We can resist and perpetuate our challenges.

Mercury stationing Retrograde leaves open the room for minds to change – or at least come to agreements for greater financial reasons, since Mercury is in Scorpio. However, Mercury will retrace its current steps and conjunct Saturn 2 more times, and conjunct the SOLAR ECLIPSE degree, meaning there is more to unravel.
