What is an Angle?
When looking at a horoscope, you'll see the Houses divided by cusps. The darker lines are the cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses, called Angles. Planets near these angles have the strongest voice in a chart. When looking at a chart for the transiting planets, if there are planets near the angles, things are most likely to happen.



What is an Ingress?
An ingress is when any Planet enters a new sign and is 00 degrees 00 minutes of that sign. For example, when Venus enters Virgo, Venus is at the ingress of Virgo and therefore 00Virgo00. Along the Earth's ecliptic there are 12 constellations we've come to know as the astrological signs and each sign contains 30 degrees.
