Your Scorpio Midheaven

Scorpio ruling the tenth house is an implication that you are apt to suffer some traumatic event in youth that greatly affects you as an adult. The trauma may have been the death of a parent, or physical or mental abuse by a parent or other family member. There may have been a suicide or other deeply troubling incident related to friends. No matter what the reality of your childhood, somewhere along the line you managed to develop the sense of having no control over things. As a result, you have great reluctance to allow anyone else to assume control over your life and destiny. If for one reason or another, you do relinquish such control, it can be a significant impediment to your growth and maturity. There may be a complete change of career for you later in life. There is also implication that, if you do not gain public attention and power yourself, you attract friends and associates who gain such positions. Whether by choice or circumstance, there is often an element of mystery or secrecy connected with your career, public image, your father, or the background of your marriage or business partners.
