True North Node in Pisces June 22, 2006 - December 18, 2007 Mean North Node in Pisces June 19, 2006 - January 7, 2008 The Lunar Nodes transit retrograde, or move backwards, through the zodiac. They spend approximately a year and a half in each sign, completing an entire orbit in about 18 years. Since the North Node is an excellent business / social trend indicator, it is very helpful to understand its movements through the signs. Concurrent with the Nodes precessing into Pisces, the Fed Chairman, Alan Greenspan, a Pisces, left his position as Chairman 51 days before the Lunar North Node entered Pisces. He also also began his position as Fed Chairman 51 days before the Node entered Pisces the last time around, 18.614 years ago, or exactly one Nodal cycle. And the universe presents us with yet another "coincidence" that involves major financial trends and the Nodes. The North Node in Pisces. Victim or perpetrator? Are they truly opposite or just complimentary? Why do we give, how do we extend sympathy, empathy, do we care should we care, are we sensitive, can we be vulnerable? While the Lunar Node was in Aries being brave and self-starting was the trend, but as the Node precesses through Pisces, the trend will be to get more in touch with your vulnerability. Being open is being able to make quick changes and have meaningful relationships. So why is it so hard to be supportive or feel supported? It's possible you'll find out when the Lunar North Node is in Pisces. When YOU are able to feel and accept your own feelings of weakness and vulnerability, you can start to gain compassion for others, which is the foundation of true support. We reject support and blame compassionate people because they admit to their weakness so they are labeled as weak. However, vulnerable, empathetic, sensitive people are the ones supporting you and if you tear them apart for being weak, you are left with a house of cards that is likely to bend under the slightest pressure. Then you can say you're disillusioned and keep the blame game going.... Ø Top of page |
